Be encouraged in the Lord!
We've been hearing the Word of God preached in a
powerful way. We must continue to fight the good fight of faith and know
that the Lord is going to see us through. Brother O'brian Samaroo preached
Sunday morning and brought a sword in and showed us that many people are
laying their sword down and have stopped fighting. But God is telling us
to pick up our sword and fight. Our sword is the Word of God. When we
speak the Word of God to our circumstance, things change. Jesus said if we
had the faith of a grain of mustard seed, we could say to the mountain be
removed and it will be moved. Sickness, discouragement, torment of mind,
poverty; all these are mountains that we can move with the Word of God. We
must be consistent and not waver from the Word if we expect to receive the
things we need. No matter how long we have to speak the Word, we must
trust that Jesus will do the work.
The Spirit has also been speaking that we must become
more aggressive in our prayers and confession. It's stated in Matthew
8:16 that Jesus cast out spirits with His word and healed all that were
sick. We are in a spiritual warfare and must fight with spiritual weapons.
The word of God is our spiritual defensive weapon. Use it to cut the enemy
all to pieces.
Praise also stops the advancement of the enemy. As we
give God praise, His presence drives off the enemy of sickness and
discouragement. Be obedient and be blessed!
